Debating Security Plus is Friends of Europe’s unique global online security brainstorm. The forum takes a holistic approach to security, bridging the gap between experts and citizens to develop concrete recommendations to global security challenges.

Our recommendations will provide food for thought on the future of European defence as the EU moves forward on the implementation of its Global Strategy among fears of US disengagement from the transatlantic alliance, the renewed nuclear threat from North Korea, the geopolitical impact of the Gulf crisis and continuous pressure on Europe’s security architecture from Russia and Turkey.
